He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Kucera and Agnes Kucera (Hala); his wife Sylvia Helen Amcha; his sisters, Marjorie Upah and Mae Steffen; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Upah, Roger Steffen and James Massey.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Kucera (Jennifer), Ann Cherveny (Mike) and Carol Nekola (Dave); his grandchildren, Hana Kucera, Katelyn Kucera (Alex), Kendra Smith (Curtis) and Drake Cherveny (Calli); his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Harper Smith; his stepchildren, Lori Copple (Kerry) of Texas, Lynn Wilson of Waukee and Nicole Miltenberger (Jason) of Belmond; and his siblings, Tony Kucera (Carolyn) of Madison, WI, Gerry Kucera (Patty) and Carolyn Massey of Dekalb, IL. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren.
