It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Merrill Freese of Toledo, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar A. Freese and Phyllis Aleta Freese (Stanford); his son Dale; his grandson Logun; his sister Joann; his friend John Cecak; and also Rex.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Sevcik; his children, Dallas Freese (Edie) and Ivy Foubert (Duane "Eddie"); his grandchildren, Desiree, Raelene and Colt; his great grandchildren, Kadin and Aurelia; and his cousins, Max, Betty Stanford, Diane and Jim Eberhart.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
