With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delane Lewis Cizek of Toledo, Iowa, born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cizek and Mildred Cizek (Karkosh); and his brother Dallas Cizek. He is survived by: his wife Jackie McAteer Valline of Toledo; his children, Paige Valline of Toledo, Julie Pudil (Kurt) of Robbinsville, NC and Bryan Valline (Rhonda) of Tama; his grandchildren, Brooke Yuska, Kyle Chyma, Todd Valline (Ashley), Bryana Hoskey (Jesse) and Ryan Valline; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Aniston, Brynlee, Paityn, Karver, Preston, Khaleesi, Emmery and Liam; his niece Penny Soat (Rob); and his nephew Paul Cizek. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; several cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church in Toledo or Tama County Humane Society.
