He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Bob Kinseth; his daughter-in-law Emma Benda; and his pets, Samantha, Bailey, Boomer and Bianca.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Benda and Dorothy Benda (Zhorne) of Toledo; his wife Lynette Kinseth of Toledo; his children, Ashley Huinker (Payton) of Des Moines and Dr. Kyle Benda of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Avery and Ryann Huinker; his siblings, Sheryl Jesina (Bill) of Toledo and Brad Benda (Carolyn) of Toledo; his mother-in-law Delores Kinseth of Grinnell; and his brother-in-law Scott Kinseth (Diane) of Independence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home (209 E 7th St, Tama, IA 52339).
A memorial fund will be established.
