She was predeceased by: her parents, Vince Hanus and Nada Hanus (Hardon); her son Elmer Anderson; her siblings, Ervin Hanus, Henry and Hazel White; and her close friend Leonard Higginbotham.
She is survived by: her former husband Wilbur Ray Anderson; her children, Andy Anderson (Pam) of Watauga, LouAnna Olson (LeRoy) of Toledo and Chris Anderson (Karen) of Dallas, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Joyce Anderson of Brooklyn, Iowa; her grandchildren, Heather Anderson Kohnen (Terry), Jessica Harken (Ivan), Kaleb Anderson (Melissa), Sarah Shepard (Nathan), Whitney Paul (Ryan), Garrett Olson (Amanda), Sadie Kennedy (Rodney), Wyatt Anderson (Brittany), Delanie Scott (Sean), Autumn Anderson and Haley Anderson; and her siblings, Katherine "Tig" Croskrey (Mark) of Tama, Nada "Pink" Ruhl (Clarence) of Tama and Tom Hanus (Jo Ann) of Tama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
