He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Brown. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Brown (Steadman) of Toddville; his children, Samuel Brown of Toddville, Candice Dietz (Curtis) of Toddville, Adam Brown (Laura) of Hiawatha and Lovena Brown of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Riley, Jackson, Khloe, Kylie, Victoria and Gwendalynn; his siblings, Charla "Jeannie" Pecinovsky (John) of Cedar Rapids and Lon Brown of Marion; and his cousin Mark Africa of Cedar Rapids.

The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Toddville Free Methodist Church.
