He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lanning and Lorraine Lanning (Evans); and his siblings, Donald, Richard Lanning and Juanita Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Lanning; his daughters, Judy Fields (Carl) of Cedar Rapids and Linda Morris (Marvin) of Hudson, Iowa; his grandchildren, Rodney Morris (Melanie) of Alexandria, Virginia and Jennifer Yenser (James) of South Windsor, Connecticut; his great grandchild Tahlia Yenser of South Windsor, Connecticut; his sister Betty Hein (Donald) of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Lanning of Alburnett, Neva Lanning of Marion and Leonard Miller of Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
