It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Marie McBurney of Toddville, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Boddicker and Louise Boddicker (McCalla); her husband Allen McBurney; her grandson Jesse McBurney; and her daughter-in-law Camie McBurney.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry McBurney of Marion, Candy McBurney of Center Point and David McBurney (Diana) of Palo, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kara Kirk, Kendra Myers, Jr. (John), Adam Rowe (Nikki), Amy Rechkemmer (Brad), Shelly Sauer (Scott) and Stefanie Becker; and her sisters, Suzanne Hawley of Knoxville, Tennessee. and Elizabeth Hungerford (James) of Knoxville, Tennessee.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edith's memory may be made to Faith Bible Church.
