She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mussman and Esther Mussman (Schliemann); her husband Gene McCormick; her son Michael McCormick; and her brother Don Mussman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Franklin (Ed) of Cedar Rapids, Debbie McCormick of Toddville, Cindy Hendryx (Scott) of Center Point, Iowa and Karen Milota (Steve) of Center Point, Iowa; her grandchildren, Damon Franklin (Jodelle) of Marion, Lance Franklin (Kristina) of Aurora and Jared "J. J."; her stepgrandchildren, Shelly Hendryx (Bill Avis) of Walker, Scotty Hendryx (Tammy) of Center Point, Iowa and James Hendryx (Lori) of Center Point, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Jeanean Coleman of Grundy Center. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a Funeral Mass for the family will be held at St. Piux X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, conducted by Reverend Phillip Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Delores' memory may be made to either Toddville American Legion Auxiliary Post #674 or Camp Courageous.
