He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Donna Lea O'Brien (DeGreif); his grandparents, Arthur and Vernice DeGreif; his cousin Paul Letts; and also Doug Zangerle.
He is survived by: his daughter Brooke O'Brien-Meza (Edgar); his grandchildren, Daniel, Sonia, David, Nicolas and Nathaniel Meza; his siblings, Greg Peyton (Kandi), Tracy Schonberg (Jay), Vicky Bolsinger (Brian) and Jim O'Brien (Lynn); his nephews, Jason, David, Adam and Dillon; his niece Melissa (Julian); his uncle Al Haars; his close friends, Al Meyer, Colleen Zangerle, Fred and Vicki Hardiman; and his pet Ginger. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
