He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Doc" and Anna Schutjer (Welhousen); his parents-in-law, Harry and Elizabeth Foley; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Foley, Michael Foley, Lester Foley (Bud) and Gene Boysen; and his grandson Jake Schutjer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Foley; his children, Kim Murphy (Terry), Paul Schutjer (La Kaye) and Janel Buseman (Russ); his grandchildren, Dan Irwin, Mark Irwin (Kayley), Adam Buseman, Zach Buseman, Addison Schutjer and Beau Schutjer; his stepgrandchildren, Laci Mortensen (Dustin), Olivia Erpelding and Morgan Erpelding; his great grandchild Oliver Irwin; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Hayden and Savannah Mortensen; his siblings, Reginald Schutjer (Joyce), Sandra Good (Randall) and Dennis Schutjer (Danette); and his sister-in-law Patricia Boysen. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
