He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schutjer and Leona Schutjer (Kuchenreuther); his sister Bonnie James; his parents-in-law, Fred and Jennie Gray; his sister-in-law Sheryll Gray; and his nephew Larry Hofmann.
He is survived by: his wife Verna of Titonka; his children, Jeff (Brenda), Becky (Aaron Kinser) of Watkins, Greg (Amy) and Jeri (Adam Grabin) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Derek Schutjer (Katie Kitzman), Stacey Myers (Zach), Rachel, Robert Kinser, Gwen, Alandra Schutjer, Wes and Hannah Grabin; his sister Sharon Hofmann (Fred) of Titonka; his siblings-in-law, Ernie James of Alta and Garlene Schmidt of Bancroft; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Social distancing practices will be followed at the services, and masks are REQUIRED.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family to be donated to a charity of their choice.
