With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger W. Giddings (Titonka, Iowa), born in Burt, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Giddings and Nettie Giddings (Grover); his wife Karen Ricklefs; his brothers, Gary and Gordon Giddings; and his brother-in-law Keith Ricklefs.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Giddings and Daniel Giddings (Molly); his grandchildren, Aidan, Ariana and Nora; his siblings, Grover Giddings (Carol), Craig Giddings (Kathy), Gail Giddings and Neal Giddings; and his brothers-in-law, Merle Ricklefs (Betty) and Mark Ricklefs (Georgia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Burt Library in Roger's name.
