Planz (Titonka, Iowa), born in Unionville, Michigan, who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Planz and Louise Planz (Weitendorf); his son Daniel Planz; his siblings, William Planz Jr. and Dora Rode; his son-in-law Bob Smith; his great grandchild Rebekah Lesley; and his brother George Planz.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie of Titonka; his daughter Rebekah Smith of Joaquin, TX; his grandchildren, Winnie Lightfoot of Joaquin, TX, Satartia Smith of Joaquin, TX, James Smith of Joaquin, TX and Rhiannon Planz of Nacogdoches, TX; his sister Lillian Rand (Howard) of Minneapolis, MN.; and also William. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
