He is survived by: his wife Janice Hulme of Titonka; his children, Debra, Gene Uken of Titonka, Denis Folkerts and Scott Poole of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Katie (Kenton Schroder), Sara (Sawyer Hrdlicka), Juan and Mark (Jose); his siblings, Ann Tegtmeyer (Don) of Britt, Wanda Douglas of Worthington, MN and Ronald Folkerts (Karen) of Titonka; and his brother-in-law David Sleper (Lynn) of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
