He was predeceased by: his parents, Diedrich Harms and Rosalie Harms; and his wife Dawney Hix. He is survived by: his children, Sydelle Harms of Spirit Lake, Cindy Jensen of Spirit Lake, JoLynn Harms of Spirit Lake and Douglas Harms (Terri) of Spirit Lake; his grandson Lincoln Harms (Lyndi); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Chloe and Dalaney of Garner; his granddaughter Sara Stover (Jeff); and his great grandchild Gabby of Morrison, CO.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Social distancing practices will be followed, and masks are required at both the funeral service and visitation.
