She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ricklefs and Tressie Ricklefs (Spear); her husband Leroy Phelps; her brothers, Harold Ricklefs (Mildred), Vernon Ricklefs (Darlene) and Melvin Ricklefs; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kolar (Joe).
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Phelps (Ann) of Titonka, Doug Phelps (Laurie) of Titonka and Kevin Phelps (Laura) of Shawnee, Kansas; her grandchildren, Justine Jahn (Lane), Tyler Phelps, Janel Cocherell (Chris), Scott Phelps (Miranda Combs), Jacob Phelps, Sam Phelps and Alex Phelps; her great grandchildren, Isaac Jahn, Eliza Jahn, Adelaide Jahn and Audrey Cocherell; and her siblings-in-law, Loretta Ricklefs and Merle Phelps (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
