It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wallace Gene Axberg of Tipton, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Axberg and Jennie Axberg (Hulce); his sister Fern Zoncki; and his parents-in-law, Claire and Delores Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Taylor; his children, Josh (Brenda) and Nicci (Bart); his siblings, Syvera (Jon), Ron (Diane) and Roger (Jane); and his grandchildren, Hailey Axberg (Ryan Hyde), Jordan Axberg (Cloie), Taylor Axberg, Claire Montgomery, Cody Montgomery, Kyle Montgomery and Brooklyn Montgomery. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
