He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley and Edith Ilsley Robinson; his daughter JoAnn Robinson; his siblings, Gorman Robinson (Fay), Narvis Robinson (Genevieve), Quentin Robinson (Dorothy) and Casper Robinson; his niece Kris Oxley; and his brother-in-law Marvin Betcher.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathryn; his husband James Matthews of Rock Falls; his sons, Steve (Kerin Robinson) of Mechanicsville and Alan; his wife Lu Ann Robinson of Stanwood, Iowa; his siblings, Corrine Betcher of Davenport and Calvin (Frances Robinson) of Mechanicsville; his sister-in-law Geraldine Robinson; and his grandchildren, Kristin Matthews, Brett Matthews, Jim Matthews, John Matthews, Kimberly Matthews, Brandon Robinson, Taryn Kuntz, Sheryl Tilton and Mike Boots. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
