He was predeceased by: his parents, La Forest A. Jedlicka and Ruth Margaret Murphy Jedlicka; his wife Betty Louise; his siblings, Kenneth Jedlicka and Margaret Biedenbach (Jedlicka); and his son Robert Jedlicka.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Lou Jedlicka Lange (Gary Mullen), Gary Jedlicka (Pam Tedrow), Dean Jedlicka (Sara) and Dale Jedlicka (Marcie); and his sisters, Dolores Timmerman (Jedlicka), Carol Jennings (Jedlicka) and Rita Sissel (Jedlicka). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and in Richard's memory, the family has set up three memorial funds 1) Cedar Manor Nursing Home, 2) Tipton Lion's Club and 3) St. Mary's Catholic Church.
