She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dicks and Emma Henderson Dicks; her daughter Sandy Zippe; her husband Tom Ellis; and her siblings, Ruth Tudor, Esther Stephens, Grace Bloodsworth and Clarence Dicks.
She is survived by: her former spouse Veryl R. Zippe; her sons, Dennis and Denny; her daughter-in-law April Zippe of Tipton, Iowa; her close friend Sharon Stewart (Don) of Clarence, Iowa; her granddaughters, Chelsea Gottschalk (Tod) of Tipton, Kaysea Zippe (Harry Harkins) of Clarence and Mariah Haedike (Michael) of Lowden, Iowa; and her sister Janice Dicks of Albia, Iowa.
