He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Elmer and L. Marie Wood (Rife); and his siblings, Beverly Yerington, Linda Boyer, Jerry Wood and Gary Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wood of Tipton, IA; his daughters, Teresa Horak (Joseph) of Cedar Falls, IA and Nancy Wood of North Liberty, IA; and his grandchildren, Joshua Evans (Mickie), Ethan Wood (Stephany), Elijah Evans (Ana), Hannah Joens (Corey), Joseph Horak (Becca), Cassandra Horak (Ryan Reinier), Jennifer Miller (John) and Nicole Paul (Christopher). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Tipton Masonic Cemetery Memorial Fund or Iowa City Hospice.
