Lester James Odeen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester James Odeen of Tipton, Iowa, born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Odeen and Maude Odeen (Stanaway); his siblings, Harry (Marion Odeen), Peg (Arnold Steenhoek), Florence (Merle Knapp) and Carl (Dorothy Odeen); and his close friend Glenice Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Schmidt (Kenneth) of Clarence, Edward Odeen (Shelly) of Mesa, AZ, Linda Haywood (Steve) of Union and Jeffrie Odeen (Helen) of Willmington, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great, and five great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oxford Junction or to Camp Courageous.
