Jerry Sloan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023, at the age of 76, Jerry Sloan of Tipton, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zon Sloan and Bernice Sloan (Smith); his sister Judith Lout; and his grandson Curtis Kaufmann. He is survived by: his wife Rita Wing (Marolf); his children, Chad Sloan of LeClaire, Errin Sloan of Burleson, Texas, Stephanie McNeill (Tim) of Tipton, Vicki Kaufmann (Jeff) of Wilton, Jennifer Grimm (Gary) of Cambridge, Michelle Reittinger of Ely and Angie Williams (Brett) of Ankeny, Iowa; and his brother Jon Christensen. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the Durant American Legion, Post #430 in his memory.
