Hugh Winston Stumbo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Winston Stumbo of Tipton, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Jean Williamson (Newsome) and Theron L. Williamson; his wife Phyllis Joy Stumbo (Ernst); and his half-brother Franklin Delano "Del" Stambaugh. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mitchell Edward Stumbo, Lorelei Ann Falsetti (Stumbo), Circe Lea Stumbo and Andrew Wyeth Stumbo; his cousin Daryl Luxmore; and his close friends, Dave Schmitt and Sheley Dilando. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations for Tipton Fire & Rescue are welcomed.
