She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stolte and Sarah Stolte (Rice); her husband Robert Gottschalk; her children, Roger, Ricky, Randy and Barbara; her sister Verna Mae Rice; and her great grandchild Vincent Mayfield.

She is survived by: her children, Royce (Lisa) of Lowden and Becky Ackerland of Davenport. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.
