It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Rodney Esbeck of Tipton, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Sena Hansen Esbeck; his former wife Mary Lou; his siblings, Ramona, Leland, Marjorie, Howard, Donald and Sally; and his son Paul Esbeck.
He is survived by: his son William; his wife Janice Esbeck; his sons, Craig Esbeck, Willianm Esbeck (Teresa) and John Esbeck (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Alecia Esbeck, April Esbeck, Erica Fitzgerald, Dane Esbeck, Mary Esbeck, Willy Okola, Edward Esbeck and Derrick Esbeck; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Maryam and Keegan Martin; and his grandchildren, Alexa, Hallie Fitzgerald and Brennan Esbeck.
A memorial fund has been established for the United Methodist Church in Tipton and the Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn, Iowa.
