He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Conway and Lois Margaret Ferguson (Grice); and his siblings, Sharon Bruechert, Marlene Umbrell, Harlan "Conway" Ferguson and Dell Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia of Tipton, IA; his children, Sherry Ferguson of Coralville, IA and Daniel Lee Ferguson (Debbie Williams) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Jack Lee Wingert of Iowa City, IA, Luke Wingert of Cedar Falls, IA and Abbie Weipert (Travis) of Tiffin, IA; and his great grandchild Asa Leigh Weipert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Between fulfilling custom orders and donating works for charity auctions, he shared his talent far and wide.
