She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thompson and Lela Thompson (Gauger); and her husbands, Dale Thumma and Albert Scorpil. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Dickey (Ron) of Wilton, Marilyn Nebergall (Wayne) of Tipton, Steven Scorpil of Tipton, Kathryn Grosjean (Leo) of Fort Meyers, FL, Ruth Nebergall (Mike Rooney) of Cedar Rapids, Nancy Smith of Coralville, Carol Tholen of Tipton and Deborah Latare (Bret Kohl) of Cedar Rapids; and her sister Bonnie White of Muscatine. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Frances Darlene Thumma, 96, of Tipton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 15, 2021, after losing her 14-year battle with Alzheimer's at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton, IA.
