He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina; his children, Nathan, Austin (Cheyanne Batzkiel) and Danielle (Trevor Spies); his parents, Barbara Kilburg (Jim Engel) and John Kilburg (Deanna); his parent-in-law Donald; and his siblings, Scott Kilburg (Cindy), Ryan Kilburg (Rachael) and Kimberly Turigliatto (Bill). He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Doug's memory.
