He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne L. Simmons and Mildred Pearl Graver Simmons (Gladys); and his siblings, Gaylord, Lyle, Bonnie and Faye.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina (Roger Woode) of Lake Mary and Darcy (Kary Miller) of Ely; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt Hahn) and Jamie (Matt McClung); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Mia Hahn, Olivia and Chase McClung; and his sisters, Joan and Jean.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with proceeds being donated to the Veterans.
