She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Timm and Gertrude Timm (Kranz); her husband Donald Conrad; and her sister Silvia Timm. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah McAlister (Ian) of Iowa City and Pat Conrad of Iowa City; and her sister Mary Beth Sanborn of St. Joseph, Michigan. She is also survived by two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
