She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Wenndt and Carolina "Lena" Wenndt (Brunscheen); her husband Lloyd Robert Thien; her daughter Gayla Ellyson (Craig) of Elkhart, IA; and her sister Veneta Kroemer.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Thien (Carol) of Council Bluffs, IA, Gwen Thien of Tipton, IA, Glenda Thien Morgan (Dan) of Ormond Beach, FL, Greta O'Clair (Dave) of Clarence, IA and Greg Thien (Michelle) of Tipton, IA; her son-in-law Craig Ellyson (Gayla) of Elkhart, IA; and her sister Carolyn Voss (Lorren) of Winfield, KS. S. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
