He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wehrle and Wilma Wehrle (Grabin). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Rebecca Mohn (Marc) of Lisbon, IA, James Wehrle (Kimberly) of Oxford, IA and Michael Wehrle of Tiffin, IA; his grandchildren, Madison Bowling of Lisbon, IA, Kassidy Wehrle (Christian Glandorf) of Williamsburg, IA, Amiah Wehrle of Nichols, IA and Brenner Wehrle of Oxford; and his great grandchildren, River and Archie Wehrle. He is also survived by three sisters; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (4022 Cosgrove Rd SW, Oxford, IA 52322). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oxford American Legion Post #537.
