She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Balfany and Alvina Balfany (Seefeldt); her husband Richard J. Wardenburg; and her son-in-law Jason Caylor. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Caylor, Lori Aisenbrey and Julie Wardenburg; her grandchildren, Evan "Patrick", Zachary Aisenbrey, Madeline, Mara, Nicholas and Jackson Caylor; her sister Reva Walder; her brother-in-law Wayne Wardenburg; her son-in-law Darin Aisenbrey; and her pets, Buddy, Bae and Charlie.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to support causes important to Ellen and her family.
