He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Lightbody and Edna Mae Lightbody (Moritz); his wife Judith Schonemann; his son Kirk Lightbody (Kathy) of Arlington, TX; his son-in-law Bart Pals of Mason City; his grandchildren, Katie Pals of Belmond and Logan Pals (Cassie) of Bellevue, NE; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Ella and Grace Pals; his daughter Jody Pals; his brothers, Bennett Lightbody and Edward Lightbody (Kay); his parents-in-law, William and Grace Schonemann; and his sisters, Virginia Beale (Jack), Shirley Mabb (Duane), Polly Schoneman (Marion) and Mariann Stiles (Jack). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
