He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ingebretson and Laura Ingebretson (Blewett); his sisters, Alice Champion, Miriam Mares, Helen Carstens, Dorothy Conrin and Bethel Enabnit; and his nephew Thomas Mares.

Due to COVID, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Thornton.
