Harold Burma Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2019, at the age of 87, Harold Burma (Thornton, Iowa), born in Buffalo Center, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alrich Burma and Annie Burma (Albers); his son Steven Burma; and his grandson John Boyer. He is survived by: his children, Shelley Macek (Doug) of Boone, Jody Busch (Marty) of Boone, Jeff Burma of Boone and Mike Burma (Dora) of Boone; his wife Maxine of Johnston; his stepchildren, Sue Mersereau (Larry) of Des Moines, Karee Anderson (Bob Monitz) of Des Moines and Gina Buzzell (Dan) of Ogden; and his sisters, Janice Dorenkamp of Thornton, Marge Swenson of Swaledale and Shirley Nelson of Clear Lake. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
