She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Bunk and Dora Bunk (Pogge); her husband Roger Heitland; and her siblings, Maxine Fischer (Bill) and Chris Bunk (Marie).

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Heitland (Lisa), Thornton, Julie Heitland, Tony Heitland (Erin), Garner and Loren Heitland (Francisca); and her grandchildren, Rilley and Emery Heitland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
