He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Moklestad and Ruth Moklestad of Forest City, Iowa.; and his wife Shirley Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Roger Moklestad (Pat) of Thompson, IA, Larry Moklestad (Mary Ann) of Ankeny, IA and Mary Mathiasen (Scott) of Forest City, IA; his grandchildren, David Moklestad (Nancy), Jeremy Moklestad (Heidi), Katie Owens (Jonathan), Nicole Stines (Jared), Traci Foster (Jason), Chad Moklestad, Jonathan Mathiasen (Amanda) and Maggie Mathiasen; his great grandchildren, Megan (Moklestad), Ruth, Reed, Russell, Rosemary (Owens), Caroline, Ike (Stines) and Emma (Foster); his brother Norman; and his sisters-in-law, Mavis Moklestad and Joy Dee Bray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
