With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Allen Mattison of Thompson, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mattison and Marlys Mattison. He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Mattison of Thompson, Karen Carpenter of Des Moines and Carolyn Volsen (Scott Savoie) of Leland; his nieces, Courtney Payton (Luke) of Altoona and Haley Kraus (Justin Betts) of Osage; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allorie Betts, Adelynn Kraus, Blayze Payton (Halee Patterson), Jaxon Payton and Willy Payton. He is also survived by friends, extended family.
