He is survived by: his mother Sharlene Hauptmann (Martin) of Clear Lake; his siblings, Meredith Hauptmann (Marge) of Onley, MD, Margaret Kenney of Garner, Sidney Hauptmann (Mary) of Algona, Marie Bedford (Don) of Clear Lake and Eldon Hauptmann (Jennifer) of Garner; and his sister-in-law Laureen Hauptmann of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
