He was predeceased by: his father Marlo Weitl; his sister-in-law Lisa Gebers; his aunts and uncles, Charles Weitl, Richard Weitl, Ervil (Helen Tiefenthaler), Paul (Mary Tiefenthaler), Nola (Vernon Kohorst), Arlene (Gaylord Stangl), Evelyn (Norbert Ludwig), Ethel (Leonard Hoffman), Rose Marie (John Hoffman) and Alphons Brinks (Bud); his grandparents, Charles, Anna Weitl, Conrad and Mary Tiefenthaler; and his father-in-law Donald Hill.
He is survived by: his mother Almyra Weitl (Tiefenthaler); his wife Laurie Hill; his children, Kristina Parker (James) of Norwalk, IA, Nicholas Weitl (Kathryn) of Charlotte, NC, Christopher Weitl (Kari) of Canyon, TX and Jason Weitl of Audubon, IA; his grandchildren, Hayley Parker, Morgan Parker, Karsyn Parker, Charles Weitl, Benjamin Weitl, Jacob Weitl, Addie Weitl and Jaxon Weitl; his siblings, Clyde Weitl (Mickey) of Templeton, IA, Brian Weitl of Carroll, IA and Carleen Evans (Thomas) of Overland Park, KS; his uncle Norbert Weitl of Carroll, IA; his aunts, Sister Myra Weitl of Dubuque, IA, Ruth Ann Weitl of York, NE and Pat Weitl of Templeton, IA; and his mother-in-law Sandy Hill of Carroll, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be distributed to various charitable contributions.
