He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Warren and Ardith Stoner (Becker); and his brother Earl Stoner (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Linda Baumgartner of Tama; his sons, Tim Stoner (Kendra) of Dubuque and David Stoner; his grandchildren, Hannah and Micah Stoner; and his sister Kris Morarend (David) of Strawberry Point.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama or Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.
