It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Franklin of Tama, Iowa, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Williams and Marie Stahl Williams; her husband Ralph Franklin; her son Andrew; and her sisters, Patricia Williams and Milva London.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Anderson (Dan) of Tama and Robert Franklin (Fania) of Eureka, California; her grandchildren, Melisa Kriegel (Jerry), Daniel Anderson (Brooke), Jim Anderson (Amy), Ahnaray Bizjak (Tim), Taylor Franklin (Manny), Laurel Franklin (Spencer), Elyse Franklin (Zack), Brian Gosink, Kevin Franklin, Rose Blackwell (Chris) and Isaiah Franklin; her great grandchildren, Hope, Blake, Audrey, Alleigh, Luke, Dalton, Addison, Haylie, Lillie, Kylie, Rosen, Indigo, Mackenzie, Zack, Tristen and Brayden; and her great great grandchild Kai. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Croix Hospice (Ankeny, Iowa) and Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama.
