He was predeceased by: his stepfather Eugene Kapayou; his parent Joyce Kapayou; and his brothers, Jack Kapayou and Eugene Kapayou Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Michael Adam Youngbear (Elizabeth) and Muriel Youngbear (Jeremiah); his grandchildren, Savannah, Michael Jr. Youngbear, Kodiak and Kira Drum; his siblings, Owen Kapayou (Sandy), Cameron Kapayou, Leland Morgan, Dale Blackcloud, Gina Kapayou, Roni Kapayou and Dixie Kapayou; and his adoptive mother Jackie Lasley-Ferneau. He is also survived by adopted dad, Nathan Bear; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
