Peter Paul Zmolek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Paul Zmolek (Tama, Iowa), who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zmolek and Agnes Zmolek (Dvorak); his former wife Phyllis Novotny; his siblings, Frank, Charlie Zmolek, Agnes Dostal and Blanche Upah; and his son-in-law Joe Scalise.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Gettle Plum of Toledo; his children, Kathy Condon of Broomfield, CO, Darrell Zmolek (Judy) of Dubuque, Pat Zimmer of Aurora, CO, Marcia Forman (Tyler) of Boulder, CO, Colleen Springer (Mark) of Marshalltown and Tom Zmolek of Des Moines; and his stepchildren, Roger Plum of Adel and Pam Scalise of Urbandale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
