He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Polka and Mary Polka (Hanzelka); his wife Doris J. Brown; his children, Mike Polka, Daniel Polka and Angie Van Nevel; his grandsons, Larry Hamor Jr., Zachary Polka and Josh Norton; and his sister Lillian Roth.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Youngman (Bob) of Tama, Bill Polka (Brendie) of Carlisle and Marty Polka (Lori) of Norwalk; and his daughters-in-law, Lena Polka of New London and Teri Polka of Tama. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; twenty great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund will be established.
