He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Guadalupe and Angelita Fonseca (Buenrrostro); his brother Manuel Fonseca; and his sisters-in-law, Imelda Fonseca and Olga Fonseca.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Fonseca of Chelsea; his children, Ramon Fonseca (Monica) of Toledo, Juan Fonseca (Brenda) of Tama, Jose G. Fonseca (Nanci) of Tama, Omar Fonseca (Rosa) of Chelsea and Gloria C. Fonseca (Luis Avalos) of Toledo; his siblings, Teresa Fonseca (Jose Ornelas), Maria Fonseca, Jesus Fonseca (Emma), Antonio Fonseca (Consuelo), Hilario Fonseca (Olivia), Jose Fonseca, Rafael Fonseca, Lupe Fonseca and Modesto Fonseca (Luz); and his nephew Isaac Fonseca. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
