We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2022, at the age of 98, Lorraine Pearl Avery (Tama, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Brandt and Louise Brandt (Lorenzen); her husband Rex M. Avery; and her siblings, Bernice Eisele, Lucille Walz Cobet and Alfred Brandt.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Avery of Marshalltown, Lea Schock (Earl) of New Sharon, Laura Christensen (Martin) of Toledo, Sally Dostal (Roger) of Lincoln, IA, Becky Hagerty (Mike) of Muscatine, Roger Avery (Marilee) of Osborn, MO, Carole Damon (Ken) of Eldora, Stan Avery (Ilona) of Tama and Alice Koch (Seth) of Tama; and her grandchildren, Brian Dostal (Stephanie), Michelle Koch (Matt), Kristin Dreyer (Jay), Sarah Block (Jurgen), Aaron Schock (Courtney), Bill Montz (Stephanie), John Hagerty (Kiley), Tom Hagerty (Sarah), Andrew Christensen (Ashley), David Hagerty (Mary), Lars Avery (LeAnn), Jerra Avery (Drew), Clint Damon (Brittany), Claire Damon (Tyler), Grant Koch (Tyieshia) and Lane Koch (Serena). She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren; four nieces; and three nephews.
